 EUSKADI PREMIERE

A collaborative artistic project that brings
together music\, vertical dance\, and audiovisual creation\, conceived an
d developed on some of the planet’s most vulnerable glaciers. Artists fr
om Catalonia\, Patagonia\, and Ecuador’s Andean region have worked colle
ctively to build a piece born directly from contact with ice and its fragi
lity. The work presents voices\, bodies\, and sounds that move across diff
erent regions of the world\, united by a shared concern over the accelerat
 ed retreat of glaciers.

 Spain\,
 30 min
 Director: Joxe Ramon Agirre
 INTERNATIONAL PREMIERE
 A group of
mountaineers sets out on an epic expedition through the Karakoram\, dream
ing of scaling the Trango walls and reaching the imposing K2. Beyond the a
dventure itself\, the journey becomes a profoundly human experience. In th
e small Balti village of Arandu\, an elderly man gives Mattin Iñiguez\, o
ne of the mountaineers\, a cloth scapular embroidered with prayers. He ask
s him to take it up into the mountains so that they may return to the vill
age with the protection and energy they have received.

  4000 M FROM HOME
 France\, 66 min
 Director: Pierre Cadot
 EUSKADI PRE
 MIERE
For over twenty years\, Vivian Bruchez has pursued a singular visi
on: to ski all 82 Alpine summits above 4\,000 meters in the Alps. An under
 taking of extraordinary scale\, driven by patience\, commitment\, friends\
, and a lifelong relationship with the mountains. But as the project nears
completion\, something begins to shift. The desire to finish\, to complet
e the list\, starts to blur the limits Vivian once believed were clear.
